Brodos AG sells off messaging division to international End2End Ltd. and strengthens its core business. This opens up new growth prospects for the profitable messaging division.

Brodos AG, the leading German telecommunications distributor and system provider for prepaid solutions, has sold off its unit brodos messaging to the internationally operating End2End Holdings Ltd.

Brodos AG has sold the division brodos messaging to international End2End Holdings Ltd., leading provider of managed services for mobile data services.

This strategic sale enables Brodos AG to concentrate on its core Business and achieving more growth by reinvesting the proceeds in the core business.

“By taking this step the brodos messaging team won the chance to play an important role in the development of an international market player,” explained Harm Schnakenberg, Partner of Centum Capital. Frank Stöcker, who is delighted about the new shareholders, will remain at brodos messaging, now part of End2End: “Our customers will benefit considerably from being able to provide more advanced data services via the market-proven managed service solutions from End2End.” he said.

Brodos AG, Baiersdorf, is one of the five biggest telecommunications distributors in Germany (my-eXtra) and additionally offers innovative applications for prepaid systems (CashUp). With some 160 employees, Brodos AG generated revenues in 2003 of considerably more than EUR 100 million. The messaging division is one of the leading connection and solution providers in Europe and offers customers such as Lycos Mobile, Citibank, SAP and Motorola centralised access to 350 GSM, CDMA and TDMA networks all over the world.
